My cousin asked me about drawing a head and I explained it this way to him: the basic building block (for me) of almost every head is a circle (which makes sense if you think of skulls). Here’s my how to. Start with a circle, put a cup under it and that’s the start of your head.
Here, I’m doing a 3/4 view so I add the side of the jawline which is a bit like a diamond shape addition. As this is a 3/4, you’ll notice the midline isn’t actually in the middle.
