This warmup painting was to test creating a printable tabloid size image on my phone. The Galaxy Note 9 handled it well. Granted I only used one layer; so, next time I’ll really have to test it out using multiple layers. Click here to watch it being painted.

The UCLA Alumni Association reached out and asked if I could do a little shout-out from San Diego Comic-Con. I think I got it right.
You may remember a doodle I did awhile back with a superhero team consisting of Jackie Robinson, John Wooden, Joe Bruin, and Anna Lee Fisher.
Much like when the X-men had a blue and gold team, here’s this year’s!
The team is comprised of Ava DuVernay, John Williams, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Lew Alcindor, then) and Josie Bruin.
