In 2017, Andy Nordvall & I met as part of SDCC Comic Creator Connection. We decided to tackle Jake Parker’s Inktober that year. Yesterday our book was ranked 74 on Kindle in our genre. I thought the top 100 was cool. Today… it’s #6! We’re in the top 10! We beat out a book about the Legend of Zelda! Would it be possible to make #1?! It won’t happen without you! Click here to buy.
It took some work to format this book for print and for e-publication but Andy Nordvall and I got it done! We went with Ingram Spark, thanks to Kat Rocha from 01 Publishing for that. If you get a chance, check out their chilling Casefile: Arkham series! Special thanks to Jake Parker and his #Inktober movement for permitting us to use his imagery. Inktober was the basis and inspiration for this project and here’s to looking forward to this year’s challenge!
Our book is currently available on Amazon in e-book and paperback!
This image concluded Andy Nordvall’s and my Inktober collaboration, Siren’s Song. The last prompt was, “Mask.” We hope you enjoyed the process and the final images. We are now looking to print; so, keep an eye out!
The prompt for Day 30 was “found” and this was the finished image for Siren’s Song.
This is the penultimate layout for Siren’s Song. I hope you’ve had a chance to enjoy this Inktober collaboration.
The prompt was “falling.” I think I nailed it. Siren’s Song.
