Working on that new, new.
I actually shared this preview on Instagram. The perspective work on these last two pages is taking a surprising amount of time but um having fun. Enjoy!
Working an angle… get it?
Working on some techniques with torsion, flexion, and foreshortening.
Now I have to go back in and make corrections.
It just looked like I needed to do a check; so, I did.
I don’t have a lot of time right now, but I liked the quick sketch I did in tribute to Steve Ditko a few days ago. So I’m rolling with it in the back of my head. I think I will actually reverse how Spidey is facing here and do an upshot instead of a down. This is why we sketch things out right?
You may remember I was outlining the borders for this one. I then went on and redrew the 5th panel with actual perspective drawn in.
Working on those background drawings.
I just downloaded the latest versions of Autodesk Sketchbook for tablet and desktop and wanted to test out the predictive/line stabilizer and perspective functions. I think I’m going to be doing a lot of this.
