Daily doodle: Red Challenge Hulk

Completing Deviant Art’s Sketch This Red Challenge. I decided to draw an homage to Dale Keown’s Incredible Hulk #377 cover using the Red Hulk. I didn’t copy it exactly, I just went with what I could basically remember of it: much like yesterday’s doodle. What are some of your favorite comic book covers?

Quick sketch: action sequence

I’ve been posting quite a few character sketches but none of them have really been action poses or character interaction shots. Since I’ve been doodling the Hulk so often recently, I thought I’d drop in a Red Hulk versus Green Hulk shot. Now I gotta panel I’m working on.

Why yes, I did needle-felt a Red Hulk. Just received some red wool, found an interesting blue sheet felt from Jo-ann and thought it just screamed to be felted into a Rulk. Might just be a one-off for the shop. Anyone have opinion?

Tomorrow, I’ll try to finish off some little Audrey II pieces. If you can see the background, there are now eleven completed bulbs with two left needing gums and tongues. My goal is to have at least 5 completed before listing anymore.
